About Generation Radio
Generation Radio is a musical supergroup formed by members from iconic bands such as Chicago, Journey, and Rascal Flatts. The band aims to revive melodic rock, blending elements of classic rock with country influences. Key members include two-time Grammy award winner Jay Demarcus of Rascal Flatts, former Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers drummer Steve Ferrone, and Jason Scheff, who was the lead vocalist and bassist for Chicago for over 30 years. Joined by Chris Rodriguez and Tom Yankton, the group formed in early 2020 with the intention of creating a purpose-driven musical project. Their sound is a celebration of their collective musical heritage, bringing a fresh perspective to timeless rock sounds.
